The farmer's house
It was—and still is—the home of Savignola’s farmer: the place from which the daily life of the borgo has always been organized, at the heart of the vineyards, the harvest, and the work of every season. Located in the main farmhouse, it is one of the estate’s most storied residences. Paolina also lived here. One of the most respected figures in Chianti Classico, she played a leading role in the world of wine at a time when few women held positions of such influence. With vision, determination, and a deep understanding of the land, she helped advance the quality of Chianti Classico and took an active role in its Consorzio.
The apartment occupies the upper floor of the main farmhouse, directly above the cellar where Savignola’s wines are still made today. Three double bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, a kitchen, a living room, and views across the vineyards reflect the deep connection between this home and the land that surrounds it.
