THE WINES OF BORGO SAVIGNOLA
Five hectares in the heart of Chianti Classico, approximately 25,000 bottles a year, and seven labels, each with its own name and character. This is not mass production, but a collection of stories, all born from the same land.
OUR TERROIR
At Savignola, the vineyards are tended by hand, with respect for the distinctive character of our terroir and the traditions of Chianti Classico. Clay and limestone soils, a unique microclimate, and careful work at every stage , from pruning to harvest, give rise to wines of depth, balance, and longevity. The work follows practices handed down through generations: a quiet ritual, unchanged by time.
TRADITION AND CARE
At Savignola, we make wine with respect for the territory and the environment. Traditional methods, modern technology, and sustainable farming come together to express the authentic character of Chianti Classico. Making good wine means knowing how to listen to the land, work at its natural pace, and give back what belongs to it.
FROM VINEYARD TO BOTTLE
The vineyards at Savignola follow the rhythm of the seasons. From winter pruning to the manual harvest in September and October, every stage is guided by nature. Only the finest grapes enter the cellar, becoming authentic and aromatic Chianti Classico wines built to age. It is slow, patient work, shaped by sun and wind, with no room for haste or shortcuts.
THE WINES OF BORGO SAVIGNOLA
Each vineyard is vinified separately, with 25 to 30 days of maceration followed by 12 months of aging in French oak. Every stage is carefully managed to create Chianti Classico wines with complex aromas, balance, and the ability to age for more than a decade. In the quiet of the cellar, far from the rush of the outside world, the wine slowly takes shape and finds its own voice.
